The Fishtown Preservation Society holds a series of presentations this summer in Fishtown. Local experts speak on different subjects related to Fishtown and the Great Lakes. These seminars are free and open to the public, and are made possible by a grant from Michigan Humanities Council, an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Today’s presentation: Mark Breederland, Michigan Sea Grant, answers the question “Where did the water go?” in his presentation about the Fluctuating Lake Levels on the Great Lakes Coast.

Future presentations on July 19, 26 and 28 (find them posted here on corresponding dates).

Fishtown is located in Leland, beautifully situated on M-22 between Lake Michigan and Lake Leelanau.
