Exploring Electricity with Jim Jensen Mondays: September 11—October 30 • 6:30 pm – 7:45 pm • Trustees Conference Room
A class for both women and men who desire a better understanding of the concepts and practical uses of electricity. Topics include: using volt meters, batteries, static electricity, A.C./D.C., magnetism, electro-magnetism, series and parallel circuits, among others. Taught by Jim Jensen, retired Charlevoix High School science teacher, these classes will consist of lots of demonstrations and experiments in addition to lecture and discussion times. A minimum of 10 people are needed to sign up for each class in order for it to be held. Please call 231-237-7340 to register. You can register for individual classes or for the entire series.
