Join Dennos Museum Store Manager Terry Tarnow and other museum staff for an excursion to the Inuit Showrooms in Toronto, Ontario.
This trip gives collectors an opportunity to visit four Inuit showrooms not usually open to the public. For the collector it is a wonderful opportunity to purchase carvings, prints, textiles and gift items from a much larger inventory than is available in the Dennos Museum Store.
Travel day is Thurs., Apr. 27, with all guests traveling on their own and meeting in Toronto where a block of rooms has been reserved at the Bond Place Hotel. Fri. is a non-stop day of visiting four Inuit showrooms. Sat. the group visits the Art Gallery of Ontario to view a memorial exhibit of the work of Kenojuak Ashevak who passed away last year. Visits to other galleries will be added as time allows.
Due to the small size of the showrooms the trip is limited to 20 guests. There is a registration fee of $25 per person. For additional information, hotel reservation information and registration form visit www.dennosmuseum.org or contact Terry Tarnow at 231.995.1587 or [email protected]
Deadline for hotel reservation is March 24.
