Crooked Tree Arts Center’s May Swirl—
On Thursday, May 31, join CTAC-Petoskey for a Swirl featuring fresh and local fare by My Sister’s Bake Shop of Harbor Springs, with wine provided by Bay View Wine Trail, and music by Sky & Signal.
Swirl is a monthly wine tasting with music and the most recent art exhibit on display. Each month the Arts Center partners with local wine purveyors, restaurants, and performers to put on an evening of culture and entertainment.
Attendees will enjoy the three new summer exhibits during the evening event: “Mind Into Matter – Cynthia Rutherford;” “Seeing and Being Seen: The Work of Susan Offield;” and “Northern Michigan: Living It, Loving It!,” showcasing the work of the CTAC Kitchen Painters.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for the Swirl, with food and music going until 7 p.m. For the April Swirl, tickets are $15 per person in advance, or $20 the day of Swirl. Tickets may be purchased online at www.crookedtree.org or by calling 231-347-4337, and are subject to availability.
The Swirl season will continue on Wednesday, August 29 with the annual Summer Super Swirl, catered by D & W Fresh Markets. Silent auctions, art activities, and live music will fill both the Arts Center and Carnegie Building from 5:30 – 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance, or $25 the day of Swirl.
