On Tuesday, October 13 the Little Traverse Bay Quilter’s Guild (LTBQG) will present a Coffee @ Ten lecture in Petoskey. The LTBQG members will discuss their group’s history, as well as their current exhibition in CTAC-Petoskey’s Edith Gilbert Gallery.
Little Traverse Bay Quilter’s Guild has represented the quilting world in this region since 1986. There are approximately 125 talented quilters in this nationally associated organization. Their quilts comprise a wide range of styles and techniques. Some of their members will showcase their quilts in the gallery from September 19 to November 21. This exhibit will include a variety of fabrics and patterns that reflect modern quilts of today, plus those reminiscent of periods of history such as the Civil War and the Great Depression.
Coffee @ Ten is sponsored in part by Roast and Toast and Johan’s of Petoskey. The Coffee @ Ten series is free and open to the public, no reservations necessary, and all lectures begin at 10 a.m.
