Countdown to Christmas with Crooked Tree!
Join Crooked Tree Arts Center for the Countdown to Christmas, December 17 – 21!
During this festive week, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Arts Center patrons can partake in complimentary coffee, cocoa, and cookies, while perusing the galleries for last-minute stocking stuffers and gifts. Santa’s Workshop will be open for kids and adults to work on holiday crafts as well!
On Tuesday, December 18 from 4 – 6 p.m., Santa Claus will be at CTAC for a festive meet-and-greet. Bring your Christmas list and camera to capture this holiday photo-op! Visitors can make a wish and put it on the Wishing Tree too! Also occurring Tuesday is CTAC School of Music’s Winter Collage Concert conducted by Music Education Director Kevin Richardson. At 6 p.m., 80 School of Music students of various ages will perform on stage. Showcasing the strings, ukulele, jazz, and rock programs, the concert will conclude with a collaborative performance featuring students from all four music programs. The concert is free and open to the public.
CTAC’s Artisans & Farmers Market will take place on Friday, December 21 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. with live music and a variety of vendors filling the Carnegie Building. Friday, December 21 is also the last day to visit the Arts Center before Christmas. Crooked Tree will be closed until Monday, December 31, with doors opening at 5 p.m. for our annual New Year’s Eve at the Arts Center celebration. The Arts Center will officially reopen at 9 a.m. on Friday, January 4, 2019.
