Performance reviews are an important development tool for both employees and their organizations. When conducted properly, performance reviews fully-engage employees in their role within in the organization and in their own professional development. In this session you will learn about and discuss best practices for conducting strengths-based employee performance reviews.
Instructor: Benjamin Marentette, City Clerk for the City of Traverse City. In his role as City Clerk, Benjamin essentially acts as the Chief Operations Officer for a municipal corporation with approximately a quarter billion in assets. Benjamin holds an M.B.A., with a concentration in Finance and Leadership from Lawrence Technological University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Development and Management. Benjamin takes a special interest in strengths-based leadership and organizational development studies, as well as the discipline of emotional intelligence.
