Precious Metal Clay Jewelry — Fee: $100
Join instructor Rosemary Gould and create your own Precious Metal Clay Jewelry. Clay it is not! PMC is an amazing new form of metal, manufactured by the Mitsubishi car company from waste silver. Initially designed for the company’s employees to be used as a creative outlet, it soon captured the interests of artists and jewlers. In its wet state, PMC is clay-like but is really tiny molecules of silver or gold. PMC is formed into shapes and then fired where the binder is burned off and the metal fuses into a solid piece. Come to the class, learn about a new technique and create your own PMC charm!
