Bethany Christian Services, a leading global family preservation and adoption agency with offices in Traverse City, is committed to assisting local vulnerable children in crisis. To raise awareness and funds to support children in foster care in Northern Michigan, the organization is hosting the Bethany Open at Manitou Passage Golf Course on Friday, June 13.
In its fourteenth year, the Bethany Open is a wonderful event bringing together local residents, businesses, and child welfare advocates to aid vulnerable children. The $200 entry fee includes 18 holes of golf with cart, a registration gift, box lunch, and admission into the post-golf reception, which starts at 5:30 p.m. Registration begins at 11:00 a.m. with a shotgun start scheduled for 12:30 p.m.
In addition to playing 18 holes, golfers can purchase an “All-In Card” to compete against fellow golfers for prizes as they work around the course. Games include: longest drive, closest-to-the-pin, hole-in-one, straightest drive, and big break.
Bethany is committed to helping children and families who are at risk from abuse and neglect, poverty and homelessness, war and natural disasters, and unplanned pregnancies. Proceeds from the Bethany Open will benefit children in foster care in Northern Michigan.
Deadline for golfer registration is June 6.
