On Saturday, June 3, from noon to 6:00 pm at Brownson Memorial Park in Kingsley, Michigan, all are welcome to the Adams Fly Festival, hosted by the Kingsley Friends of the Library! Come and enjoy fly fishing education and demonstrations, live and silent auctions, Adams fly history tours, live music, and a microbrew tent!

This event is free and open to the public, except the microbrew tent which is $20 for admission ages 21 and up. The Kingsley Branch Library benefits from all proceeds.

The main intersection of downtown Ludington will close to give way to the street party of all street parties to kick off Love Ludington weekend!

The Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra presents “From Bohemia’s Woods & Groves” on Saturday, June 10 at 7 pm at the John M. Hall Auditorium in Bay View, Petoskey.

The concert features works by Czech composers: Antonín Dvořák’s 8^th Symphony and Bedřich Smetana’s Moldau, and welcomes back award-winning violin virtuoso Dylana Jenson (the first American woman to win the Tchaikovsky International competition) performing Samuel Barber’s Violin Concerto.

PULSE will be performing in Glen Arbor June 12-25 in off-stage places creating intimate experiences that close the gap between audiences and classical musicians. The first concert will be Friday, June 16, 7pm at the Glen Arbor Arts Center front porch. The final concert will be held at the Leelanau School Beach at 7 pm on June 22.

The Forging For Peace Project blacksmiths return to the Glen Arbor Arts Center Forge on Saturday, May 20, Sunday, June 18, Sunday, July 23, and Sunday, August 20 from 11 am – 3 pm. The demonstrations are free and open to the public.

These Northern Michigan artists and craftsmen use the ancient art of blacksmithing as part of a world-wide project to raise funds for non-profits focused on peacemaking. Local businesses, volunteers, community members, and county officials have joined efforts to bring a healthy
family event to the village of Lake Ann.

Join us for The Inaugural Lake Ann 5K run/walk which will benefit a U.S. Marine Veteran, Erik Florip and his family with medical finances. We are gathering as community to provide support to a local family. We hope to continue this event year after year to benefit a local family or cause in need of assistance.
