Leelanau Lemon Aid

Traverse Magazine‘s food and drink editor, Tim Tebeau, offers this recipe for Leelanau Lemon Aid, a refreshing gin-based and fruit-ridden cocktail that’ll help shake up the rest of the summer.

<ul> <li>2 whole lemons, sliced</li> <li>1/4 cup sugar</li> <li>2 ounces Cointreau</li> <li>2 ounces Northern Latitudes Limoncello di Leelanau</li> <li>12 ounces Northern Latitudes Jack Pine Gin</li> <li>Club soda</li> </ul>

Directions
In a pitcher, muddle the lemon slices, sugar and Cointreau until the sugar is dissolved. Add the Limoncello and gin, stir to combine and strain into ice-filled rocks glasses. Top with club soda and garnish with lemon wheel.
