Birch Lodge

Birch Lodge, a nationally designated historic hospitality retreat located on the shores of Trout Lake in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, has reopened with new rooms and amenities after a million-dollar investment, with plans to continue expanding in order to honor more than 100 years of history. New owners and operators Bob and Maureen Kraemer and Jim and Carol Woodruff expect the Lodge to offer year-around amenities and are now accepting reservations at www.birchlodge.com

Since the historic inn reopened, Birch Lodge ownership has hired a number of local residents to fill full- and part-time roles. Open positions are still available to support operations of the 20-room property, including roles as room attendants, guest experience specialists, chefs, servers, gardeners and laundry attendants. Those interested in applying for open positions should email james@birchlodge.com.
