White On Rice

White on Rice is owned and operated by husband and wife duo, Eric & Amy Kolden. Our aim and intent is to deliver "everyday" sushi and other Japanese favorites to Northern Michigan. Realizing there was something missing in the areas’ culinary scene, we jumped at the opportunity to launch our concept inside The Little Fleet, with their LTO program. The response was great within the community, and we then acquired and geared up our own food truck.

After a successful first season in the food truck, White on Rice storefront was opened. The space allows for greater delivery of everyday sushi to the area with an expanded menu that allows guests to enjoy high quality food to go!

We are excited to announce we are now licensed to wholesale our sushi!! After the long and arduous Seafood HACCP training and certification we’ve obtained dual licensure from MDARD and our local health department.
It’s a BIG deal.
We are partnering with @tomsfoodmarkets exclusively where you can find fresh, made daily sushi at all 5 locations. 😅
