Spice and Sweetheart Cocktail


  • Superfine sugar
  • Lemon Juice
  • Cardamom
  • Vodka
  • Pomegranate


Step 1: Make a cardamom-infused simple syrup by bringing to a boil 1 cup water, 3⁄4 cup superfine sugar, 1 teaspoon lemon juice and 2 teaspoons cardamom. Step 2: Pour 1 ounce cooled cardamom-infused syrup, 1 ounce pomegranate juice and 2 ounces vodka (we used Grand Traverse Distillery’s True North vodka) into cocktail shaker; shake. Step 3: Strain into chilled cocktail glass Finish with pomegranate fruit seeds before serving.
