Registered Nurse – Supervisor – Full time Nights – Senior Living Cadillac

Position Details

We are seeking a resident-centered RN or LPN Supervisor to join our team. Comprehensive benefits effective the first of the month following thirty days of employment. Generous PTO. Awesome team! Come join us!


Provides day-to-day direction to nursing and/or direct care staff in assigned unit. Provides assistance to the Clinical Manager and/or DON/ Administrator as well as providing individual nursing care services to residents.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day supervision to nursing staff. Partner with Clinical Manager/DON/Administrator and Human Resources in hiring, onboarding, coaching and counseling and performance management. Assist with coordinating training programs for nursing staff. Ensure delegation of responsibility, authority and accountability.

  • Make recommendations and assist Clinical Manager/DON/Administrator in the development and implementation of nursing standards and oversight of clinical practice.

  • Collaborate with scheduler to ensure adequate staffing for all shifts. Monitor staffing levels to meet resident needs. Perform nursing duties as required including, providing direct nursing care as necessary.

  • Participate in daily rounds with physicians and other health care providers to observe residents and to ensure needs are met; notify Clinical Manager/DON/Administrator with matters of concern.

  • Review and complete documentation and reports to ensure they are informative and descriptive of the nursing care provided, and accurately reflect the residents' response to care.

  • Participate in resident care conferences. Ensure Care Plans are updated and Point of Care is reflective of care needs.

  • Perform administrative functions to support the program. Provide direct oversight of service plans for Residents.

  • Complete and distribute all required documentation, including but not limited to medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, and charts as directed by physicians/management; complete audits as directed.

  • Monitor nursing care for Quality Assurance compliance and report to Clinical Manager/DON/Administrator on a timely and consistent basis.

Job Qualifications

Education, Training, and Licensure/Certification

  • Current Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.


  • One year experience in a nursing field; geriatric setting preferred.
