New York Sour

  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1 ounce simple syrup
  • 1 1/2 ounces Traverse City Whiskey Company Bourbon
  • 3/4 ounce cabernet sauvignon


Combine lemon juice, lime juice, simple syrup, and bourbon into a cocktail shaker, and shake with vigor for 15 seconds or until cold. Pour the contents in a glass. Slowly pour your choice of cabernet down the back of a bar spoon to layer the wine on top of the cocktail.
