Member Service Representative
â¢Greet and welcome members and visitors to the credit union in a friendly professional manner.â¢Process member deposit and withdrawal requests, received either in person or via mail/electronic means.â¢Process/Post Loan payments received either in person or via mail/electronic means.â¢Maintain appropriate cash levels according to the cash limit policy. Understand procedures associated with bait cash.â¢Examine monetary instruments for endorsement and negotiability.â¢Provide information and cross sell all products and services offered by the credit union.â¢Open new share/share draft/certificate accounts, perform file maintenance on member accounts, and verify membership requirements according to policies and procedures. â¢Ordering and maintenance of the ATM/Debit cards to include all database changes, pin changes, new cards and all reorders and investigations. â¢Assist members with ordering personal checks. â¢Maintain open/closed membership files.â¢Answer telephone in a professional manner and direct calls to appropriate department or person.â¢Monitor office supply levels; maintain adequate supplies on the frontline for prompt member service. Inform management when items need to be re-ordered.â¢Attend education/training sessions with particular emphasis on OFAC/BSA compliance.â¢Complete proper documentation for both incoming and out-going wire transfers. â¢Assist members with IRA account openings, deposits and withdrawals. â¢Assist in daily balancing/replenishment of credit union ATM.â¢Perform account research as necessary.â¢Ensure compliance with all credit union procedures/rules.â¢Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
