Labor Pool Utility Staff
Munson Medical Center is currently seeking applicants to fill standby positions in order to respond to the current Covid-19 Pandemic. On the job training will be provided. These are paid, temporary, and non-benefitted positions that may end at any time.
Positions to be filled in the Labor Pool may be related to the following areas will be in high demand:
Environmental Services - Cleaning and disinfecting high tough service areas
Runner/Triager - Ability to help with more physical tasks including grabbing supplies
Screener - Ability to screen individuals & employees entering the facility
General Clerical Assistance - Ability to provide customer service/clerical assistance
Nursing Assistants - Ability to provide patient care assistance
Logistics - Assistance with providing PPE to dedicated areas as needed
Other positions as identified by our needs
High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent required OR must be 18 years of age and in final (senior) year of high school.
Ability to commit to an average of 24-32 hours per week, but up to 40 per week as needs change.
Ability to be cross-trained across different functions and float between those departments/functions.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Able to wear protective medical gear to ensure safety.
Healthcare experience preferred
May receive input/instructions from onsite leads. Must be self-directed, motivated and able to work independently.
