As directed by the team leader and accountable to the Support Services Manager, the PSA is a primary member of the support team. Works collaboratively with the direct care team to provide housekeeping, supply management, laundry services, equipment management and unit specific special projects.
Removes all regular and medical waste per departmental guidelines.
Cleans and disinfects all bathrooms and fixtures according to departmental guidelines.
Cleans and disinfects all patient rooms on a daily basis per departmental guidelines.
Performs resident personal laundry according to departmental guidelines.
Cleans and disinfects all common areas, entrances and offices per departmental guidelines.
Performs other duties consistent with purpose of job as directed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
