Cook II

This position will cover all shifts and will include working Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or GED preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Demonstrates effective skills in all levels of food preparation to include short order and/or line cooking. Prepare quality food presentations. Provide customer service. Ability to read and expand recipes. Understand inventory, ordering and food rotation systems.

PREFERRED QUALITIES:

Additional education in related culinary field. The Cook job duties will include:

  • General hot food prep for patients, employees, and physicians

  • Receiving products, checking in, stocking, cleaning of the product

  • Set up/tear down, ware washing

  • Proper storage and service of products and related equipment

  • Responsible for proper food handling technique

  • General sanitation of work area
