Cast Iron Kitchen TC South
Founded in 2016 by the late Nancy (Bunge-Oxby) Whaley, the Cast Iron Kitchen is open to serve the people of Manton, Cadillac, Traverse City and our neighboring communities.
We know that Michigan towns, big and small, need a place to gather, a place to laugh, and a place where family and friends can enjoy a meal together. Our doors will be open FOR YOU for as long we’re blessed to earn your business.
We know that we have a special restaurant in a special community, where friends and neighbors show up for each other, and we are committed to continuing to deliver for you!
Owner Larry Bunge describes the restaurant as offering “casual family dining” for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. “It’s old school: good food at very affordable prices,” he says. “The menu is huge. We have over 90 items. Breakfast is a big one; we sell a lot of omelets and biscuits and gravy, and we have a sunrise meal special on weekday mornings for $7.99. We sell a lot of burgers and different sandwiches, and we do a fish fry on Fridays.”
