Betsie River Campsite
Located on the Betsie Valley Trail System and 10 miles from Old Indian Trail the Southern edge Sleeping Bear National Park. We are near bicycling, hiking, fishing and beaches. We have large grassy sites with scattered shade, cute little cafe and warm showers. Oh yea and homemade biscuits. Hop on the bike trail for a three mile ride to sandy beaches, ice cream, restaurants and shops. Fishing? You Bet! Excellent Trout, Perch, Bass, Pike, Salmon and Steelhead fishing in Lake Michigan, the Betsie or Platte rivers and nearby lakes. We are a mile from the Betsie Bay and close to Betsie River access points. Please note - access to the river involves waders, a compass, a good attitude and a 400 - 420 foot muddy hike through the woods (not recommended for little kiddos). (Courtesy their FB page.)
