Bike to Local Wineries | Bike the Leelanau Trail from Suttons Bay to Shady Lane Cellars and savor a glass of chilled pinot gris.

You can also bike to these wineries:

  • Black Star Farms
  • Mawby
  • BigLittle Wines
  • Ciccone Vineyard

Paddle the Crystal | Kayak the sandy-bottomed, shallow Crystal River in Glen Arbor. View local kayak and canoe trips through Crystal River Outfitters.

Enjoy Movie Night | Take in a movie at the darling, historic Bay Theatre in Suttons Bay.

Head to the Farmers Market | Fill your basket with just-picked goodness at the county’s smaller, less-crowded weekly farmers markets. There are five markets throughout the area; visit the Leelanau Farmers Markets website for days and times.

Go Gallery Hopping | Gallery-hop your way around the peninsula for fine art, crafts and folk art. There are many more to explore, but a few favorites include Sleeping Bear Gallery in Empire and Glen Arbor Artisans.

Hit the Bike Trails | Take on the trails in Leelanau’s marquee mountain bike destination, Palmer Woods Forest Preserve.
