Even though we might still see some flurries in Northern Michigan, March 20 marks the official end of the 2023 winter season. So that means “ski for free” days, spring celebrations, and the return of outdoor entertainment.

This March, spend the last weekend of winter and St. Patrick’s Day Weekend at Otsego Resort’s Beaver Dam Olympics and Splash Down competitions on March 18. Get more details on both events and join the fun!

Beaver Dam Olympics 2023

Get your team ready (and your fun costumes) for this year’s Beaver Dam Olympics, taking place 1-4 p.m. Your four-person crew will compete in four exciting relay races, with check-in starting at 1 p.m. and the race kicking off at 2 p.m.

Each year this local fan-favorite offers something new, and this year is no exception. The 2023 competition includes a sack race, corn hole, beer pong and plank skis. Also, prizes will be available for first, second and third-place teams.

Splash Down 2023

This year’s Splash Down will boast a spring party and competition, where skiers and snowboarders alike are invited to take on an epic slushy puddle right on the ski hill. Since this year’s event is on the same day as the Beaver Dam Olympics, from 1-9 p.m., you’ll also enjoy drink vendors and live music.
