Join Parallel 45 Theatre for a play reading of “The Children,” which follows the story of two retired nuclear scientists living in an isolated cottage by the sea as the world around them crumbles. This Dennos Museum Center exhibition celebrates some of the roles Anishinaabe, Inuit and Pueblo women fulfill in their families, communities and beyond. Rooted in contemporary and historical artworks, this traveling exhibition explores themes like mothering, making, art world success, spirituality and continuity in visual culture across generations. It will be open through May 19.
