February 1–28 | Month of Love at DELAMAR Hotel | Traverse City
Throughout February, Traverse City’s DELAMAR hotel invites guests to celebrate their special someone during a cozy romantic getaway. The package includes deluxe accommodations for two, a bottle of champagne on ice, chocolate truffles, buffet breakfast, $100 hotel credit toward a dining experience at Artisan and a 1 p.m. late departure. February 10 | Candle Light Hike at Mt. McSauba | Charlevoix
Snowshoe, hike or cross-country ski on Friday nights at Mt. McSauba in Charlevoix. This self-guided hike ends with a roaring fire and hot chocolate. Through February 24; 5–8 p.m.

February 10–12 | Taste The Passion | Leelanau Peninsula
Fall in love with your new favorite vintage during this annual food and wine event along the Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail. For $45, attendees receive a 1.5-ounce pour of wine paired with a delectable bite from each of the participating wineries. Additionally, each ticket comes with $10 in “Cork Cash”, redeemable at participating wineries on purchases of bottles, merchandise, tastings and more. Ticket holders can travel along the peninsula at their own pace, but reservations are highly recommended and may be required for larger groups, as space at each winery is limited.

February 10–12 | Cinderella | Interlochen
See the timeless rags-to-riches tale come to life as the Interlochen Arts Academy Dance Division stages the ballet adaptation of “Cinderella.” Expect lush scenic design, exquisite costumes and exceptional dancing. “This version of Cinderella has all the magic that we crave from a fairy tale while capturing the essence of the story’s meaning and its themes of love, resilience and fun, too,” says Joseph Morrissey, director of dance at Interlochen Arts Academy. “Whether you are a seasoned balletomane or first-timer to the theatre, Cinderella is the perfect way to warm everyone’s hearts during the cold winter.”

February 10–12 | You Know I Can’t Hear You When The Water’s Running | Grayling
The Artisan Village Community Theatre in Grayling presents four hilarious one-act plays celebrating relationships, aging gracefully and the naked truth. Catch a show at AuSable Artisan Village Art Center.

February 11 | Farm Club Valentine/Galentine Bouquet Workshop | Traverse City
Join Farm Club and IndieGrow Flower Farm in Traverse City for a Valentine’s Day full of beautiful blooms. You’ll earn the art of making flower arrangements from Alissa Thomson, founder of IndieGrow and a master at putting colors and textures together.

February 11 | The Fabulous Horndogs Sweetheart Dance (SOLD OUT) | Leland
The Fabulous Horndogs, in partnership with local nonprofit 5Loaves2Fish, are hosting a Valentine’s dance and fundraiser to help feed the homeless at the Old Art Building in Leland.

February 11 | Frostbite Trail: A Winter Cask, Flask, and Fork Experience | Elk Rapids to Charlevoix
Eight locations between Charlevoix and Elk Rapids are joining together to bring you a food, wine, cider and beer-tasting experience. Each participating business (Lost Cellars, Bier’s Inwood Brewery, Cellar 1914 Central Lake, Torch Lake Cellars, Waterfire Vineyards, Short’s Brewing Elk Rapids w/Alley Cats, BOS Wine and Townline Ciderworks w/Sabores y Colores Drop) will pair a small bite with a drink tasting for $10 a person at each location. You decide how many locations you want to visit on your timeline. The Frostbite Trail runs one Saturday a month during the winter on January 14, February 11 and March 11 from 1–6 p.m. (with an exception of Bier’s Inwood which is 3:30–9 p.m.). The February 11 theme is “Decadent Duos.”

The birds are chirping, the sun is shining, but the wedding bells aren’t ringing for this not-so-happy couple when a member of the wedding party is murdered! Trade clues with your fellow guests and help the hapless couple figure out whodunnit. The bride and groom aren’t picky, so you can wear just about whatever you’d like. In fact, go ahead and wear your own wedding dress or the most ridiculous wedding attire you can come up with. Hosted at BJ’s Catering and Event Center in Gaylord.

February 14 | Zaagidwin Giizhagat – Valentine’s Day Concert | Marquette
Local band Waawiyeyaa (The Circle) will be performing at Donckers in celebration of Zaagidwin Giizahagat (Valentine’s Day).

February 15 | Galentine’s Day Puzzling Party | Petoskey
Love puzzles? Love cheese? Love sweets? Fab. This event is for you. Celebrate with your gal pals at The Katydid boutique in downtown Petoskey. In teams of up to four, put together a 500-piece puzzle, competing against other teams to see who can put it together the fastest. The team who wins receives a prize package with $100 in Downtown Dollars, $100 in gift certificates to Fustini’s and $200 in gift certificates to The Katydid. While competing, you will also enjoy cheese trays from Petoskey Cheese, sweet cupcakes and some sips. All participants will also get a swag bag of goodies worth more than $50.
