Take a guided bus tour of historic Curtis area homes, businesses and resorts. Then enjoy live music, a vintage U.P. photography and memorabilia exhibit, movie night and a presentation at The Pine Performance Center, “The U.P. in 3-D” with Jack Deo.

“Anatomy of a Murder” | September 16

Erickson Center for the Arts’ nostalgic weekend event begins with Movie Night @ The Pine! featuring the classic U.P.-based movie, “Anatomy of a Murder.” Film starts at 7 p.m. Get the inside story of a chilling crime: an upstate Michigan lawyer defends a soldier who claims he killed an innkeeper due to temporary insanity.

Jack Deo Presentation

“The U.P. in 3-D” | September 17 

Close out the weekend with a special presentation at The Pine Performance Center. Photographer Jack Deo uses antique stereo views taken in the 19th century to explore the history of iron and copper mines, Native American encampments, and many towns in the U.P. Special 3-D glasses will be provided to take you back in time.
