June 4 | Summer Picnic | Cadillac
The nonprofit Cadillac Area Land Conservancy invites the public to enjoy lunch and a celebration of land conservation at their Summer Picnic on Saturday, June 4 at noon at their Carl T. Johnson Preserve. A preserve work bee project starts at 9:00am. People can learn about new land protection projects and landowners can learn how to protect their land.
June 4 | 14th Annual Cherry Roubaix | ThompsonvilleÂ
Cherry Roubaix (Roo-bay) Gran Fondo bike tour and race, now in its 14th year, features three courses: 30-, 45- and 62-mile routes that begin and end at Crystal Mountain Resort. The courses take riders along scenic routes in Benzonia and Manistee Counties.

June 4 | Dirty Dog Dash | Boyne Falls
The annual Dirty Dog Dash race route covers 5km across the slopes of Boyne Mountain Resort with competitors climbing, crawling, wading, and sliding to conquer the numerous obstacles in front of them. New for 2022, they’re opening the adventure run up to 12 years of age and older! The post-race festivities feature live music, a cookout, and cold beer for those 21+.
