Searching for local Northern Michigan events? Add Traverse City Opera’s first-ever performance on April 1 to your list. You’re not going to want to miss Found in Translation, a dramatic opera experience.

If you’ve never seen an opera before, now’s your chance to get the full experience.

The Traverse City Opera will host an unforgettable performance, “Found in Translation: A Dramatic Opera Experience,” at 7:30 p.m. on April 1. Located at the historic Kirkbride Hall at the Village at Grand Traverse Commons, spend the day exploring the vibrant Traverse City area and enjoy a night of premier opera singing.

This time, you won’t need to guess what the song is about – the performers will show you. Organizers say this show is “an opera experience that is new and different,” featuring transcendent singing in its original language paired with dramatic English interpretations by local professional actors.
