Offering something exciting for any generation, the Traverse City Figure Skating Club will put on a dazzling performance of your Broadway favorites on March 4-5. Enjoy numbers from “Sing!,” “Hairspray,” “Grease” and “High School Musical,” at this Northern Michigan winter event at the Centre Ice Arena in Traverse City.
Brought to you by Shoreline Endodontics, “Sing! High School Musicals on Ice” is a high-energy show featuring big-screen favorites, and not to mention phenomenal local talent ranging from 3-year-olds to adults.
The show will also include national, sectional and regional figure skating competitors, as well as an up-close experience with on-ice seating available.

In preparation for their upcoming performances, we caught up with the Traverse City Figure Skating Club to dive further into the details.
Tell us why you’re excited about this event/series of events.
Our skaters are so excited about this event after being away from performing like this due to COVID-19 this past year. It is the highlight of our skaters’ year and they have been working so hard to put on a great show for the community.
What are some highlights of the venue?
The show features phenomenal local talent ranging from ages 3 through adulthood with the talents of national, sectional and regional level competitive skaters in dazzling costumes amid spectacular sets.
How does your organization’s mission connect with this event?
The ice show is the biggest annual fundraiser for the nonprofit skating club. In addition to ticket sales, funds are raised through the sale of souvenirs like animal ear headbands, light-up rings, and pom-poms. Proceeds help defray the cost of billed ice time, thus making involvement more accessible and affordable to the community, which in turn helps sustain the skating program.
Is there any other news you want to share with our editorial team?
In addition to our house seating, we also offer VIP on-ice seating where you can be up close with the performers. This seating is available to audience members ages 12 and up for $160 per 4-top table which includes hors d’oeuvres and wine for 21 and older.
