The great outdoors of Northern Michigan and craft brews combine during Otsego Resort’s Craft Beer Trail, kicking off this month. Slip-on your snowshoes or cross-country skis and try a few brews along this scenic walk through the woods.

A great way to fight cabin fever during the long Northern Michigan winter months, Otsego Resort’s Craft Beer Trail features a stunning stroll through Gaylord’s picturesque, snow-covered trails.

Starting at the historic River Cabin, you’ll explore a groomed trail (that’s walkable in boots!) and taste craft beer from three stations, along with light food pairings. The evening wraps up at the Beaver Dam, where a roaring bonfire will greet you.

“Our Winter Wine Walks are some of our most popular winter events, so this event will give the craft beer enthusiasts the same opportunity to enjoy our scenic trails,” shares Otsego Resort’s MaKenna Mead.

If you don’t have any gear, the resort has limited rentals available and all requests to reserve equipment can be made at the sports center.

Check-in for the event begins at the River Cabin at noon, so attendees should take the shuttle from the parking lot.
