We know you love Northern Michigan just as much as we do. To continue sharing the stories of the people and places that make the North so incredibly special, we’re raising the prices of our subscriptions and single copies in 2022.
Here’s why:
We have not increased our prices in more than 10 years. We thought we could continue that run however COVID has changed our world, like that of so many others. In the past 18 months, the prices of paper, ink and postage have increased dramatically, at times by almost 40%. We simply can’t carry the full amount of these increases any longer, especially since there is no indication from suppliers if or even whether prices will go down. We want to capture Northern Michigan for all of us who love this region for decades to come and this increase will make that possible.
What are prices changing to?
After extensive market research and discussion, the following prices will be implemented on March 1, 2022:
1-Year Subscription: $29.95
Single Copy on Newsstand:Â $6.50
Our 2 and 3 year subscription prices have already changed as of January 1st, 2022.
2-Year Subscription:Â $49.95
3-Year Subscription:Â $69.95
Can I renew or subscribe before prices increase?
Yes! We are giving our audience the chance to subscribe or add a year to their current subscription for just $24.95. Click here to take advantage.

Is the content in the magazine going to change at all?
Only for the better! A price increase means we can continue to provide exciting, fresh content about life in Northern Michigan, including two new issue themes: Made in Northern Michigan and The Tastemaker Awards.
