Looking to make your holiday shopping easy as can be? Grab your holiday shopping crew and head to Deck the Walls for unique, hand-crafted holiday decor and gifts. This annual Erickson Center for the Arts (ECA) fundraiser is currently in its 16th year and will be held at Chamberlin’s Ole Forest Inn. This much anticipated ECA event offers a unique holiday shopping experience where guests can bid on hand-crafted silent auction items, and enjoy refreshments and entertainment while supporting the Erickson Center.
Chamberlin’s Ole Forest Inn is well known for its casual fine dining, and the appetizers served at the Holiday Gala are definitely a delicious highlight of the evening. The warm, inviting dining room is bright with cozy holiday lights, cheerful Christmas décor, and a beautiful fireplace, perfect to sit near with a glass of wine.
The financial support received from annual fundraisers held at Chamberlin’s Ole Forest Inn is monumental for the future of the Center. Along with the Holiday Gala, the annual Wine & Cheese Tasting Auction & Fundraiser held every July at Chamberlin’s provides this organization with substantial funds to help sustain operations, provide entertainment events, classes, programs, and much more.
The Holiday Gala is held during the Curtis Aglow Weekend. The two-day event sponsored by the Curtis Chamber of Commerce includes a Santa Parade, Christmas Craft Show, and a “Light-Up the Town!” Christmas Decorating contest for local businesses and residents. A true “Hometown Christmas” celebration, the weekend’s events draw crowds excited for local shopping, some small-town nostalgia and of course, a visit with Santa!
