The MyNorth Media team along with CEO and Founder Deb Fellows recently announced a donation of $21,670 to Child and Family Services of Northwestern Michigan. The funds were as a result of the 2020 Northern Home & Cottage Virtual Home Tours that launched in October and ended on January 31st, 2021.
100% of the ticket proceeds from this annual event went directly to the Northern Michigan nonprofit. In a virtual video ceremony recorded in December, Fellows presented the donation amount to CFS Executive Director Gina Aranki. Watch the donation ceremony below:
More than 900 people purchased tickets to the virtual tour which launched on October 30, 2020. The annual tour was almost scrapped due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the MyNorth Media team was able to put together a virtual tour, which includes eight stunning homes in Northern Michigan. Filmed by the official 2020 tour videographer, Greg MacMaster with Eagle Eye Video Production, the 10-minute long tour videos feature an inside look at each home. The 2020 tour was the most successful tour the team has hosted to date!
