On Saturday, December 19, at 11 a.m., the Crooked Tree Arts Center School of Ballet’s virtual production, “Nutcracker 2020: Reimagined Up North,” premieres online.

A full-length, re-envisioned performance of the classic Nutcracker story, “Nutcracker 2020: Reimagined Up North” is set at your favorite local landmarks, such as Petoskey’s Gaslight District, the Clock Tower, the Petoskey State Park, out on the break wall, and beyond! All of the cherished scenes and characters from “The Nutcracker” have been recreated in modern-day Northern Michigan, and audience members of all ages will be equally enchanted and delighted by the fresh take.
