With holiday plans looking a little different this year, Black Star Farms in Suttons Bay is hosting several events to deliver fabulous dining experiences, offering both to-go options to enjoy in your home or safely spaced experiences at their Inn, rated Best Wine Country Hotel 2020 by USA Today Reader’s Choice Awards.

Thanksgiving Dinner To-Go! Offering a full dinner for up to six, the elevated menu is based on this traditional feast, complete with wine pairings and locally-sourced ingredients for people to enjoy safely in their homes. Details and ordering.

Santa promises to be back again this year at the Inn, with his new face shield and social distancing. While children won’t be on Santa’s lap whispering their wish lists, spacing squares will position them to safely tell him what they hope he brings them when he comes down their chimney. Brunch with Santa will be held on Saturday, December 12, with families seated at separate tables, appropriately spaced. Details, seating and tickets coming soon.

For family and friend groups looking for a private dining experience, the Inn at Black Star Farms is offering Chef Choice wine-paired dining experiences for any special occasion like anniversaries, birthdays, elopements or holiday festivities. Inquire with the events team.

Who cannot wait for New Year’s Eve to welcome in a new one?! The tradition continues with the NYE exquisite black-tie wine-paired dinner in the Inn, with a new twist. Instead of the communal tables, dining groups will be seated at their own tables, appropriately spaced. Kiss 2020 goodbye and get tickets.

When the snow flies, Snowshoes, Vines and Wines will once again return to the farm where guests will enjoy more than three miles of trails through forest, orchard and vineyard. Following the snowshoe excursion, a hot lunch and mulled wine await on the outdoor heated terrace. Watch for this, weather permitting, to begin December 26 through February.
