The Bahle family is listing Bahle Farms Golf Course for sale. This is a decision driven by the need to simplify our business as we transition to the next generation. In light of our ages, it is simply time to slow down and pass the torch as we step into retirement.

Our family had a dream to build a signature golf destination in the heart of the Leelanau Peninsula, centered around our community. As we enter our 20th year of operation, it is time to transition to new ownership with the same ambition of fostering and supporting our community.

As with The Bay Theatre, it is important to us that the course continues in operation. Thus our commitment to its operation into 2021 and beyond as we look for new ownership. It is our goal to find someone who is invested in the area and community who will take the course to the next level.

Planning started in 1996, construction started in early 1998, with the first play late in 1999. Built on land mostly owned and farmed by the family since the mid-1940s it encompasses more than 200 acres through cherry orchards and hardwood forest offering spectacular views of Leelanau’s natural beauty.

The Bahle family is tremendously proud of the facility remembering past and current staff as an integral part of what the public and patrons see and experience. We thank them all for what they have helped us achieve.

We also recognize our loyal patrons and hope that you will continue to support us as we move through this process. Thank you for choosing Bahle Farms.

We are represented by Cory Beuerle and John McIntyre of Century 21 Northland. // Bahle Farms Golf Course, 9505 E. Otto Rd., Suttons Bay
