September is here and that means colorful leaves and crisp autumn air are returning to Northern Michigan. So are an array of golf events at Grand Traverse Resort and Spa.
Par 3 Shootout // October 11
The resort is turning The Bear into 18 of the most spectacular par 3 holes it can possibly be, but in scramble format. The Par 3 Shootout is open to male, female and mixed teams. Women and men will be playing from different sets of tees.
- Tee off: 10 a.m. Shotgun start
- Course: The Bear
- Format: Two-person Scramble, Scratch—flighted after round
- Entry: $120 per team
12th Annual Tuff Enuff Golf Tournament // October 18
Play one of Michigan’s toughest golf courses, The Bear, at its absolute hardest. For one day only, the resort turns The Bear into 7,000+ yards of long-range tee boxes, aggressive greens and challenging hole locations. The 12th Annual Tuff Enuff Golf Tournament is open to male, female and mixed teams. Women and men will be playing from different sets of tees.

- Course: The Bear
- Format: Two-person “Best Ball” event, Scratch—flighted after round
- Entry: $120 per team
- Purse: Payout ~ 30% of the field. $3,000 based on 50 teams
