On May 5, 2020, people around the world are coming together at the grassroots level—within our own neighborhoods and communities—to spread kindness, generosity and appreciation in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
#GivingTuesdayNow is organized by GivingTuesday and being held in addition to the annual event that will still take place on December 1, 2020. On the last GivingTuesday, December 3, 2019, the global day of giving generated $2 billion, just in the U.S., and inspired millions worldwide to volunteer, perform countless acts of kindness and donate their voices, time, money and goods.
