A sure-fire way to beat cabin fever is Ludington’s premier winter event, Pure Ludington BRRRewFest, at Rotary Park on Saturday, January 25.

More than 20 Michigan breweries are heading to Ludington to offer patrons a taste of the best and most unique beers, wines and meads at the 6th Annual Pure Ludington BRRRewFest.

Brews to be excited about: Herminator, an apple mead with spices from Great Mead Hall; Cinnibun D’Booty, a barrel-aged stout from Ludington Bay Brewing and Smoked Chipotle Porter from Fetch Brewing Company.

Tasty, warm-ya-up eats will be brought to you by The Q Smokehouse. Hunker down with your bounty or get moving to covers from the ’60s and beyond with the afternoon’s headlining band White Rabbit.

Guests are invited to tour Michigan’s craft brew scene while giving back to the community. Proceeds benefit Friends of the Ludington State Park, a non-profit volunteer group that cares for the local park. The Friends group adds programs, activities and volunteer support where needed for items that are not traditionally funded by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources who manage the park, working closely with Ludington State Park’s management team to identify needs and implement solutions. The Ludington BRRRewFest has donated $30,000 to the organization in total.

Tickets are $30 in advance online and $35 at the door. Admission includes six drink tokens and a 5-ounce commemorative tasting glass. Five additional tokens can be purchased for $5.
