NEW YEAR’S EVE CELEBRATION AT CRYSTAL MOUNTAIN | Starting times vary

Kick-off 2020 at Crystal Mountain in Thompsonville, where there will be something fun for all ages. Thistle Pub & Grille and The Wild Tomato will have delicious prix fixe dinner choices, then head over to Northwest Territories in the Crystal Center for the New Year’s Eve Family Fun Party and Buffet for face painting, crafts and games. New Year’s Eve 2019 promises to be one to remember at Black Star Farms in Suttons Bay. Summit Village will feature kid- and family-friendly activities in the Bellaire Room, the Lakeview Restaurant is offering traditional dining beside a roaring fireplace and floor-to-ceiling views of the midnight fireworks over Summit Mountain, the relaxing River Bistro at Cedar River Village will show the Times Square live broadcast and Schuss Village is the spot for those 21-and-over looking to kick up their heels.

“If you’re blue and don’t know where to go to, why don’t you go where fashion sits?” Arrive at the Ramsdell Regional Center for the Arts in Manistee and see its Gatsby-worthy transformation as revelers ring in 2020. Entry includes party favors, noisemakers and a champagne toast at midnight. Dance to the jazz beat of Dave Greer’s Classic Jazz Stompers and indulge in hors d’oeuvres and libations. SIPS N’ GIGGLES COMEDY SHOW FEATURING ANDREW NORELLI | 7:30 & 9 p.m.

This event at Traverse City’s Old Town Playhouse is pairing Leelanau Peninsula wines with a nationally touring stand up comedian. Andrew Norelli has made numerous appearances on late-night shows, including “The Late Show with David Letterman,” “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” where he was booked by Jimmy himself who said “because of how few slots we have available you have to be an A++ comedian to get booked on my show, and Andrew is.”

This exclusive tasting experience includes stops at Traverse City Whiskey Co., Left Foot Charley and Rove Estate. Tours will begin at Traverse City Whiskey’s Stillhouse, where guests will enjoy a tour as well as a flight of their signature whiskey. Hopping on the TC Whiskey shuttle, the tour will continue just a few miles away at Left Foot Charley. Enjoy the excitement of an urban winery with a full tour of the winemaking facility as well as a private tasting in the barrel room. The last stop is Rove Estate. Relax at the highest point on the Leelanau Peninsula with a private tasting expertly paired with locally sourced snacks. Tours will conclude at the TC Whiskey Stillhouse.
