The Sixth Annual IPA challenge, presented by MI Local Hops, is a local competition between 11 Traverse City breweries. Each brewery will produce its best IPA and 200 beer lovers will gather at The Little Fleet on November 7 to taste and vote for their favorite brew. It’s always a good time!

What You Want to Know About the Sixth Annual IPA Challenge

All beer tastings will be blind. Ticket holders will know the description of the beer, ABV and other facts, but the brewery will remain confidential.

It’s the official kick-off event of Traverse City Beer Week.

At 9 p.m. an awards ceremony will take place. The winning brewery will take home a trophy and the privilege of saying their brewery has “The Best IPA in Traverse City.”

There will be VIP tickets available for the YURT at The Little Fleet. This will guarantee you a seat, table service, a full meal from Milkweed, snacks and other amenities. Limited seats are available! $65 VIP. $30 General Admission tickets available October 14–November 6. $35 at the door.
