Going on a Fall Color Tour October 4–5? Check Out the Empire Hops & Harvest Festival

The Empire Hops & Harvest Festival is back with Northern Michigan food and a drink, an amazing live performance lineup and more—all celebrating the beloved, beautiful and bitter hop plant. Bonus: the festival is a fun addition to a Northern Michigan fall color tour—here’s when and where to see peak colors.

The celebration begins on Friday, October 4 at 6 p.m. and continues all day Saturday, October 5 in downtown Empire. Kick the weekend off with a traditional pig roast from Art’s Tavern in Glen Arbor and homemade beer brat chili. Moving into Saturday, the all-day festival will feature food and beer vendors, including Lake Ann Brewing Co., St. Ambrose Cellars, Jolly Pumpkin, Market 22, Shipwreck Cafe and so many more.

Taste and sip at your leisure while enjoying beautiful Empire. Admission is $5 per person on Friday and $25 per person on Saturday and includes a commemorative glass and drink ticket in addition to admission.
