This week I’m hanging at Suttons Bay’s newest restaurant, Wren, at the former 9 Bean Rows space, with chef and owner Adam McMarlin.

You know Adam from his time at Wren the Butcher at the State Street Marketplace in downtown Traverse City. Adam has kept the same philosophy of locally sourced ingredients  prepared simply and with love at his new restaurant. He cut his culinary chops at one of my favorite San Diego restaurants called The Farmhouse and hails from the Detroit area. I talk food and music all week with this super-talented young chef.
