Let us plan your weekend. Snag a ticket to these Northern Michigan events and enjoy every moment of those two glorious days.

A Woman of a Certain Age | Friday the 17th

Friday night calls for an evening of food, drinks and of course, a show. Ramsdell Regional Center of the Arts in Manistee welcomes back former Broadway singer Karen Curlee, now a “woman of a certain age.” She’ll share wisdom, mistakes, and lessons learned throughout her career as an artist through her performance. Joining Curlee on stage will be her husband, Mark Stewart, and pianist Carrie Selbee.

Go Blue/Go Green Polo Match | Friday the 17th & Saturday the 18th

U of M Grand Traverse Alumni, Grand Traverse Area Spartans, and Flintfields Horse Park in Traverse City invite you to join them for a weekend of family fun at their action-packed rivalry scholarship polo match and tailgate party. Dress up in your favorite team colors and bring your friends. The Rivalry Polo Match will take place on Saturday afternoon. Gates open at 11 a.m. and general admission tickets are $10. Children under 12 are free.

Leelanau Peninsula Wine on the Water | Saturday the 18th

The only thing that makes a beautiful day Up North even better is sipping wine while looking out at Grand Traverse Bay. Taste local wines, beers, and ciders at the Leelanau Peninsula Wine on the Water festival in Suttons Bay Marina Park. Great food and live music are the perfect touches to this laid-back summer gathering. Tickets cost $15 in advance (get them here) and $20 at the gate.

Lobster Fest | Saturday the 18th

Experience what a New England Lobster Fest is all about without leaving our own freshwater coast. In efforts to preserve and restore the Grand Traverse Lighthouse in Northport, the Grand Traverse Lighthouse Museum will be hosting its Annual Lobster Fest fundraiser. Dinner includes fresh lobster, boiled redskin potatoes, corn on the cob, slaw, cherry dessert, and a wide variety of drink options. Live entertainment will be provided and a silent auction will also be taking place. Bring your appetite and get ready for a good time for a good cause.
