Let us plan your weekend. Snag a ticket to these Northern Michigan events and enjoy every moment of those two glorious days.

Premium Wine & Cheese Tasting | Friday the 24th

It’s the perfect weekend to go wine tasting (just like every other weekend). When you’re making your way through the fantastic wineries on the Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail, make sure to stop at one of our favorites, Black Star Farms. Waiting for a spot at the bar all day can be a buzzkill so Black Star is inviting you to kick back, relax and let the tastings come to you—table service style. Enjoy six wines chosen to compliment your palate, along with a souvenir glass, an artisan cheese board with house-made crackers and a special sweet treat. Sip, nibble and excite your senses in the heart of Northern Michigan wine country. This day doesn’t work for you? Check out other available dates here.

Keweenaw Brewfest | Saturday the 25th

With more than 50 breweries, 200 beers, live music and local food vendors, this fundraiser and beer festival is nothing short of a good time. Proceeds from the event will go back to the community for disaster relief after a devastating June flood in Houghton County. Raise a glass and head to Ray Kestner Waterfront Park in Houghton. Grab your tickets now and save at the door.

Taste of Boyne Highlands | Saturday the 25th

Enjoy an evening on the back lawn of Boyne Highlands main lodge and slope-side lounge and experience some of the resort’s finest dishes, wine, spirits and live music. Taste of Boyne Highlands takes place from 5–9 p.m. for the perfect date night or weekend treat. Grab your tickets here.

Disney’s The Lion King | Saturday the 25th

Rain is in the forecast this weekend in Traverse City. But that doesn’t mean you can’t have a good time. Catch a matinee performance of The Lion King at Old Town Playhouse. The African savanna will come to life on stage with Simba, Nala, Rafiki, and an unforgettable cast of characters as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle and back again in this inspiring coming-of-age tale. The show is being put on by OTP’s Young Company. See what seats are available.

Showstoppers Revue| Sunday the 26th

Witness some of the area’s best young talent perform a Broadway favorite right here in Traverse City. Coming to the stage at Old Town Playhouse is Showstoppers Revue, directed and choreographed by Minda Nyquist with music direction by Matt Archibald. An audience favorite, Showstoppers features singing and dancing by these future stars.
