Sparkling wines are sublime solo, but try adding frozen cherries and fruit purées to sweeten the buzz. Here are a couple of favorite sparkling wine cocktail recipes from MAWBY in Suttons Bay.

Cerise Royale

Ingredients:

  • 3 ounces M. Lawrence US
  • 1/2 ounce local cherry concentrate
  • Individually frozen tart cherries

Directions:

Add cherry concentrate to the bottom of a flute or coupe and top with sparkling wine. Garnish with frozen cherries.

Mawbosa

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 ounces M. Lawrence US
  • 2 1/2 ounces orange juice
  • ice cubes
  • 1/2 ounce M. Lawrence Rosso

Directions:

Combine sparkling wine, orange juice and ice cubes in a blender and blend until slushy. Transfer to glass and top with 1/2 ounce sparkling Rosso.
