Frenchies Famous has developed a cult-like following for its pastrami sandwich (here’s a picture that will help you understand why). The pocket-sized eatery also has a solid coffee/espresso/tea selection and serves up breakfast, lunch, and weekend brunch.

Love this place! Chef/owner French Clements and his wife own this quaint joint with a scratch kitchen that has a Seattle vibe, which makes sense since French spent some time there on his journey to Traverse City. The pastrami sandwich is as good as I’ve had and French has a great story worth checking out. Give it a listen on this week’s episode of Lick the Plate on MyNorth. —Host David Boylan
