Rachel & Ben Watson
Ben Watson proposed to Rachel Dorie atop breathtaking Pyramid Point in the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. The setting was perfect for the high school sweethearts who were both raised in Northern Michigan. The couple was united in marriage on September 16, 2017, at Traverse City’s Hagerty Center. Grand Traverse Bay made a perfect backdrop for their outdoor ceremony on the center’s grounds. Afterward, the 170 close friends and family in attendance were ushered inside to the waterfront reception room to enjoy a lovely buffet dinner prepared by the Great Lakes Culinary Institute. A lively, fun night of dancing fueled by pizza and raspberry mousse closed out the evening.
