Nicole & Max Steinbauer

The woods behind the enchanting Village at Grand Traverse Commons—where the couple had so often hiked and shared their innermost thoughts—was where Max Steinbauer proposed to Nicole Martell, the love of his life. In the presence of a hundred beloved guests, Nicole and Max were wed on June 10, 2017, in the picturesque village of Lake Ann, on the outskirts of Traverse City. The ceremony took place under an open-air pavilion at the Lake Ann Township Park and included a sand-unity ritual. The bride carried a bouquet of silk hydrangeas and vintage jewelry donated from family and friends and made by her mother, Jill Hayes. The reception in the charming Lake Ann Township Hall included a buffet dinner and an evening of dancing and laughter. The couple wishes to express their gratitude to the family and friends who assisted in decorating and set-up of the hall.
